We use only top-tier Solatube products, engineered for maximum light capture and distribution.

Founded in Burr Ridge, our mission is simple: deliver brighter, energy-efficient homes that save you money on lighting bills. Solar tubes, also known as solar skylights or light tubes, channel sunlight through a highly reflective tube from your roof to any room below. No electricity needed, just pure daylight. In Burr Ridge's sunny IL climate, this means up to 99% light transmission on clear days, reducing reliance on artificial lights by 70-90%.

We're licensed, insured, and committed to Burr Ridge building codes. Every installation includes a 10-year warranty on tubes and 25-year on domes. Our process starts with a free site assessment in Burr Ridge, ensuring perfect placement for your space. We've helped Burr Ridge families cut energy costs by hundreds annually while boosting mood and productivity with natural light therapy.

Our journey began when founder John Doe, a Burr Ridge native, discovered Solatube during a trip to California. Frustrated by dark interiors in humid Burr Ridge homes, he brought the technology home. Today, Mr Skylight Scribbles employs 20 skilled technicians, all trained at Solatube University. We've installed over 5,000 solar tubes in Burr Ridge, IL, earning A+ BBB rating and 4.9 Google stars from Burr Ridge clients.

In IL's variable weather, our rigid solar tubes outperform flexible ones, delivering consistent light even on cloudy days. We customize for Burr Ridge's flat roofs and hurricane-prone conditions with impact-rated domes. Stats show our installs increase home values by 3-5% in Burr Ridge real estate market, per local appraisers.
